All our customers can be assured our food is safe. Southern Star Smokehouse is fully certified and the quality of the processing is monitored by Quality Auditing Specialists. To protect the consumer, as required by the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) all product is “Best By” dated.
In the unlikely event all the salmon is not eaten in one sitting , carefully stored it will keep well if refrigerated at 4ºC or less (in fact we believe our salmon improves with age) the hardest thing is for you is not eating it in one sitting. It is best frozen vacuum packed for up to six months.
